Commissions & Collaborations
I enjoy working on private commissions with clients, collaborating closely to bring their visions to life as well as developing original work for exhibitions. Over the years, I have completed numerous private client commissions, creating pieces specifically designed for resturants, hotels and various interior projects, ensuring each work complements its environment perfectly.
Client
The Fife Arms Hotel
I created a bespoke ceramic range of Scottish hand carved Egg Cups for the boutique 5-star hotel, which is a holder of Two Michelin Keys and is included in Condé Nast’s Gold List 2025 for the best hotels in Europe. The Fife Arms was transformed by art collectors Hauser & Wirth, blending the Victorian structure with thousands of artworks and artefacts. You'll encounter everything from Picassos, Lucien Freud, watercolours by Queen Victoria and King Charles III and now my little egg cups.
Client
Lost Shore Surf Resort, Ratho
This was an especially exciting collaboration for me as my daughter and I love surfing. I created a retail collection for Lost Shore’s new shop featuring sea and surf-themed items, including mugs, bowls, and keyrings, as well as a large painting specifically designed for printing onto various retail merchandise. Lost Shore, located just outside Edinburgh, is Scotland’s first and Europe's largest inland surf resort.
Client
Martin Wishart, Edinburgh
Restaurant Martin Wishart, overlooking the Water of Leith has been Michelin-starred since 2001. Martin commissioned me to create a range of slab built plates for his famous beetroot and horseradish dish and the amuse bouche bowls were made to very specific sizes and colours to complement the dishes.
Client
NHS
A bespoke tile Mural for The Sanctuary Space Room, at Haddington Hospital, in East Lothian. A collection of therapeutic art and design at the site draws inspiration from East Lothian’s environment, creating grounds that nurture physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing - making it a more comforting place to visit. Shortlisted for the Scottish Design Awards.
